This page covers deleting your account for any of our 14 Tethered Rifts mobile games. It is also where to ask us to delete your data without closing the account.
Option 1: in the game (fastest)
Open the game, sign in if you are not already (deleting an account needs one), tap the gear Settings icon, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account, then confirm Delete permanently. The row only appears once you are signed in — see Guests, below, if you are not.
Option 2: without the app
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, subject Delete my account, naming the game or games. We verify ownership by replying to that same address. Requests are processed within 30 days.
Deleting some data but keeping the account
Email [email protected] asking us to delete the cloud saves for one game, or for all of them, without closing the account. Same 30-day window.
What is deleted
- Your account record and sign-in identity
- Cloud saves for every Tethered Rifts game tied to the account
- Your Rift Gem balance
- The ad-free purchase record on the account
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and order records are held by Google Play or Apple under their own policies — we have no way to delete those.
- Anything already saved on the device stays until the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
- Usage events are not stored on our servers today, so there is nothing there to delete.
Data we do hold is removed from our systems within 30 days of a deletion request.
Guests
If you have never signed in, your progress lives only on your device — there is no account and nothing on our servers to delete. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, removes everything.
Before you do this
Deleting your account removes the ad-free purchase from every Tethered Rifts game on it, and that cannot be recovered.
